UNTITLED ASTIGMATISM AND OTHER POINTS IN TIME
Places that do exist, in discomforting and disconcerting zones and moments within the environment. If truth is stranger than fiction then, paradoxically, it's depiction often suggests an exaggeration. If, on the other hand, a deliberate understatement could be one of the 'non-location', the result might be a purely functional but also ambivalent space with a sparse and elusive human presence. Blue skies over concrete, a supermarket bag blowing in a tree, and the apparent unease of the passer-by. A kind of senseless-of-place rather than sense-of-place.
