Extracts from the series In Prosperous Days. This series followed on from a video piece, Voices and Sabotage #1: Paradise Lost (a damaged sketch) 2004. The presence of found or introduced text in the environment, its' insertion and fragmentary nature creating a certain polemic, rendered partially bland and impotent as the penalty of being divorced from its’ original source. The beam of light pragmatized in the technology of the laser, fantasized as the potent ray of science fiction, and mythologised as the abstract conduit of 'absolute' knowledge.
