SERIES H
‘The Illusion Affirmation Module’
exposes the rift between converse
states: the naïve and the knowing,
the resolved and the enigmatic, the
brief moment v/s the continuum. As
combined extracts from a visual
diary, the images provide evidence
of ‘dramatic’ events,
but always encountered in
a kind of wilderness
between subjective and objective
reality; one where facts exist but
are filtered by context, and where
humour intervenes as a mediator.
Codes and symbols hazily surround
the pictorial; the naïve depiction
with its foundation both in
concrete experience and in
the abstraction of thought itself.
